Moraine, OH : Both drivers injured in a two-car crash on South Dixie Drive on Tuesday afternoon, January 5, 2016

The drivers of two vehicles were taken to Miami Valley Hospital following a two-car crash Tuesday afternoon.

Police say the driver of a white Chevrolet Impala was traveling north – in the right-hand lane, on South Dixie Drive in Moraine near the Moraine fire station when she attempted to turn left into the station.

When the driver turned, she struck a GMC Denali that was carried at least one child at the time. When the Impala struck the Denali, the Impala bounced off of it, nearly striking a U-Haul truck.

The child was uninjured.

Both the driver of the Impala and Denali suffered non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the impala is at fault, the Moraine Police Department said.
