DICKSON, TN : 1 dead after hit-and-run crash in Dickson, driver at large on Sunday, 12th May 2024

Police are searching for a driver after a deadly hit-and-run crash in Dickson over the weekend.

Police are requesting the public’s help for information in the deadly crash that left one man dead.

The man was found on the south side of Beasley Drive near the intersection with Highway 48 at about 6:40 a.m. Sunday. The identity of the victim hasn’t been confirmed at this time.

A preliminary investigation indicates the man was likely walking along the road sometime overnight when he was hit by a vehicle. Anyone who was driving on Beasley Drive between Highway 48 and Cowan Road any time after 8 p.m. Saturday and before 8 a.m. Sunday and believes they saw a man walking or lying next to the road is asked to call police.
