Dothan police were investigating a fatal motorcycle crash Thursday night.

According to reports, a northbound motorcyclist lost control and hit a utility pole in the 600 block of South Saint Andrews Street shortly before 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
