Wethersfield, NY : Motorcyclist ejected in Wyoming County crash on Sunday, May 22, 2016
A Wyoming County man was ticketed Sunday after he turned into the path of a motorcycle on Route 78, causing the motorcyclist to be ejected, the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office said.
Charles Muniak, 26, of Perry, was driving eastbound just before 5:30 p.m. and tried to make a left-hand turn in front of the motorcycle, driven by Christopher Sly of Java.
Muniak did not see the motorcycle, which was heading west, the sheriff’s office said.
Sly was transported by Mercy Flight to the Erie County Medical Center with a leg injury.
Muniak has an appearance scheduled in Wethersfield Town Court.
