Dallas, TX : Westbound I-635 near Royal Lane in Dallas reopens after fiery crash on Tuesday, January 31st 2017

A crash that caused an SUV to catch fire shut down all westbound Interstate 635 near Royal Lane for about an hour Tuesday morning. The westbound lanes of the interstate in the Lake Highlands area have been closed since 7:30 a.m., but at least one was reopened about an hour later, Dallas police spokeswoman Tramese Jones said.
Two SUVs were involved in the crash about 7:15 a.m., KXAS-TV (NBC5) reports. Firefighters extinguished the flames soon after.
There were two people in each vehicle who were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
