WALHALLA, SC : Authorities identify 3 killed in South Carolina crash on Sunday, September 24th 2017
Officials have identified the Georgia and North Carolina residents killed in a South Carolina crash.
Oconee County Coroner Karl Addis said in a news release that a Georgia man and a North Carolina man and woman died in the wreck Saturday afternoon on state Highway 11 near Walhalla.
Highway Patrol Lance Cpl. Justin Sutherland said a pickup truck crossed the center line and hit a car.
Addis said the driver of the pickup truck was 51-year-old Wayne R. Olliff of Lawrenceville, Georgia.
The coroner said the driver of the car and his daughter also died in the wreck. The victims were 52-year-old Christopher Gene Shackelford and 20-year-old Kelci Shackelford, both of Mount Holly, North Carolina.
A passenger, Christopher Shackelford's wife and Kelci Shackelford's mother, was flown to a Greenville hospital.
