An Englewood man is seriously injured after a motorcycle crash on on SR 776 east of Plaza Drive in Charlotte County.
The 74-year-old man was riding his motorcycle in the westbound lanes of SR 776 around 12:40 p.m. Saturday.
The motorcyclist suffered a medical episode and crossed over the concrete sidewalk, entering a grassy embankment, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The man was thrown from the motorcycle as it flipped. Troopers confirm the man was taken to a local hospital.
