Colorado Highway crash seriously injures four

The Colorado State Patrol said four people were seriously injured in the wreck, with the driver of the van, a man, flown to a Denver hospital after an ambulance took him and one other person to Longmont United Hospital.

Two people were taken to Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland.Below, Mountain View firefighters and Colorado State Patrol work the scene of a two-car, head-on collision on Highway 66 between County Line and Elmore roads at about 5 p.m. Monday. Traffic was stopped in both directions on while crews worked to clear the scene.

Information about how the crash occurred was not available on Monday night.
