ANDERSON, CA : Woman arrested for DUI after crash with 2 small children in her pickup on Sunday, 2nd July 2023

Anderson police officers arrested a woman for DUI and child endangerment after a crash into a power pole in Sunday night. Police said the driver had two children under the age of three inside the pickup when the crash happened.

The crash was reported just after 7 p.m. on Deschutes Road near Corner Way in Anderson.

Officers arrested the driver 20-year-old Hallie Williams, of Redding, Police said Williams had a blood alcohol more than twice the legal limit.

The two childen in the crashed pickup had minor injuries.

Anderson police said Williams was on probation for a previous DUI traffic collision last year.
