La Mesa,CA : Man killed in high-speed crash on state Route 94 on December, Sunday 10th 2017

33-year-old man was killed in a high-speed crash on west state Route 94 in La Mesa Sunday morning, officials said.

Witnesses said Charles Dillaha III appeared to be driving about 100 mph when he hit a freeway barrier near state Route 125 about 9:10 a.m., according to the Medical Examiner’s Office.

He lost control of the vehicle, slammed into a bridge pillar and was ejected.

Passing motorists stopped and performed CPR on Dillaha, but he succumbed to his injuries, the Medical Examiner’s Office stated.

Three lanes of Route 94 were blocked while officers investigated the crash and cleared the wreckage. No other vehicles were involved.
