Portland, OR : Driver injured in shooting, car crash in east Portland on Saturday, 6th February 2021

A man is in critical condition after being shot and crashing his car Saturday night in east Portland, police say.

Officers from the Portland Police Bureau were dispatched about 9:51 p.m. to reports of gunfire around Southeast 170th Avenue and Haig Street in the Centennial neighborhood.

Police found a car crashed into an unoccupied trailer and the driver with a gunshot wound. The driver was taken to an area hospital, where he was in critical condition.

Suspect information is not being released, police said.
