Suffolk , VA :1 dead, 1 hospitalized following 2-vehicle crash on Portsmouth Blvd/Route 58 on Thursday , June 25th 2015

Suffolk, Va. '?? One person is dead and another has been hospitalized after a two-vehicle accident in Suffolk. A woman was driving the Dodge van and was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police say the accident involved a Dodge van and a Honda sedan. The accident occurred in the 1900 block of Portsmouth Boulevard/Route 58 Westbound. The driver of the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene.The woman driving the van was ground transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.Klink said the Honda was severely damaged, and the driver died at the scene. She said crews will have to extricate the body, due to the mangled vehicle.
