STOCKTON, CA : 2 robbery suspects killed, 1 hurt in California crash on April, Tuesday 4th 2017

Authorities in central California say two robbery suspects were killed and a third was injured in a violent car crash after they led officers on a short chase.

Stockton police say the pursuit began following separate reports of an attempted purse snatching and a masked man with a weapon late Tuesday morning.

Officer Joey Silva says the suspects’ car sped away as police tried to pull it over, eventually crashing into three other vehicles and bicyclist at an intersection.

The suspects’ car rolled over, killing two of the suspects. The third was hospitalized with unknown injuries.

The Stockton Record (http://bit.ly/2o2Djyo ) reports the cyclist and occupants of the other cars were taken to hospitals for observation but all escaped serious injury. No officers were hurt.

Police recovered several gun parts from the wreckage.
