South Dallas, TX : 2 dead in South Dallas crash in the 4900 block of Elsie Faye Heggins Street south of Military Parkway on Sunday, 2nd September 2018

Two men died in a crash early Sunday in South Dallas, police say.

A car struck a concrete bridge support about 4 a.m. in the 4900 block of Elsie Faye Heggins Street south of Military Parkway.

Dallas Fire-Rescue personnel pronounced the driver dead at the scene. A passenger was taken to Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, where he later died.

The victims' names have not been released. No details about what led to the crash were provided.
