Gadsden, AL : One dead, at least two injured in crash early Wednesday morning, February 1, 2017
Police believe speed may have been a contributing a factor in a early morning crash that claimed the life of a Gadsden woman.
Arica Angolia Lee, 34, of Gadsden, was driving an Impala that was involved in a crash with a Silverado truck at about 4:30 a.m.
Gadsden Police Sgt. John Hallman said the truck was turning southbound on Hoke Street off Meighan Boulevard when the Impala, traveling westbound on Meighan Boulevard struck the truck.
Lee, the driver and only occupant of the Impala was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the truck suffered some broken bones and passenger had minor injuries
Gadsden's Trafffic Homicide Investigators continue to investigate the crash, Hallman said.
