CHARLOTTE, NC : Injury crash closes part of I-85 SB near W Sugar Creek Road on April, Tuesday 11th 2017

One person was seriously injured in a crash on Interstate 85 southbound in northeast Charlotte Tuesday morning.
The wreck happened around 6:45 a.m. on I-85 just before W Sugar Creek Road, blocking the left lane of the interstate for a time.
North Tryon was being used as an alternate.
Medic says they took one person to Carolinas Medical Center in critical condition.
