Oxford, AL : Kenneth Chadwick Jenkins, 31, died in crash on Interstate 20, east of Oxford Friday morning, February 12, 2016

Alabama State Troopers have released the name of a man killed in a Feb. 12 accident on Interstate 20.

Senior Trooper Chuck Daniel of Alabama State Troopers said Kenneth Chadwick Jenkins, 31, was killed in the incident that happened at 5:40 a.m. Feb. 12 on Interstate 20 two miles east of Oxford.

Jenkins was driving a 2015 Ford F-250 that struck a 2006 Freightliner driven by Charlie Junior Simmons, 59, of Cross, S.C.

The Ford caught fire, killing Jenkins.

His body was identified through an autopsy from the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences.
