NEWTOWN, CT : 1 dead, 2 injured in Newtown crash on Saturday, 20th January 2024

A person died after a crash on Saturday morning in Newtown, police confirmed in a release.

Around 10:30 a.m., first responders rushed to a two-vehicle crash near Berkshire Road and Nighthawk Lane.

Three people were transported to the hospital following the collision.

One of the victims was pronounced deceased at an area hospital, according to officials.
