Wayne County, MI : Driver killed in crash on Interstate 275 Wayne County Thursday November 12 2015

Authorities have released the name of a semitrailer driver killed Thursday afternoon after striking the rear of a Wayne County Road Commission truck on Interstate 275.
Michigan State Police said Friday the driver has been identified as John Mark Sakofske, 37, of Holly.
Police said the crash occurred at about 2 p.m. Thursday on southbound I-275 south of Michigan Avenue in Canton Township.
Sakofske’s tanker truck was traveling in the right lane and passed a Wayne County Road Commission truck on the shoulder. The truck had its arrow board activated.
Police said the truck struck the rear of a second Road Commission vehicle that was stopped in the right lane with its arrow board activated.
Sokofske died instantly, police said. The driver of the county truck was taken to a hospital as a precaution.
