INDIANAPOLIS, IN : EB I-465 shut down near I-69 due to semi crash on Tuesday, 19th November 2024

All lanes of eastbound I-465 have reopened on the city’s northeast side after a crash involving three passenger cars and a semitruck shut down traffic for nearly seven hours.

Indiana State Police responded just before 5:30 a.m. Tuesday to a crash on eastbound I-465 near the 37 mile marker.

Traffic cameras in the area showed three heavily-damaged passenger cars in the roadway and a jackknifed semitruck partially on top of a concrete barrier.

Police shut down eastbound I-465 between I-69 and 71st Street. The express lane on northbound I-465 was also closed.

Dispatchers told News 8 that there were no injuries.
