Viroqua,WI : Viroqua man injured in ATV crash, Vernon County sheriff says on September, Sunday 10th 2017

A rural Viroqua man was injured Sunday evening while driving an ATV that overturned onto him in a crash.

Morgun Oldham, 20, was taken to a local hospital then flown by medical helicopter to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, his condition unknown, the Vernon County Sheriff's Office said.

The crash happened at about 6:30 p.m. Sunday on private property off of Cherry Grove Road in the town of Viroqua.

The investigation determined the ATV struck a large boulder with Oldham losing control of the vehicle. The ATV overturned, landing on Oldham, before coming to rest on its wheels.

Oldham was not wearing a helmet or eye protection.

The crash remains under investigation.
