Tallahassee, FL : 2 killed in Thanksgiving-eve crash on Wednesday, 27th November, 2019

Two men were killed Wednesday when their car ran off State Road 26.

The driver, Garrett Crosswhite, 19, died after his 2007 Mazda 3 drifted off the road for unknown reasons and struck a tree, according to a release from the Florida Highway Patrol.

The car then redirected and overturned, striking another tree. Crosswhite was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:13 p.m. The passenger, whose identity has not been released yet, died later at University of Florida Health Shands Hospital.

The crash is under investigation.
