BUTLER TWP, PA : Ellwood City man was killed in a Butler County crash on Tuesday, 19th June 2018

An Ellwood City man was killed Tuesday morning in a Butler County crash that also claimed the life of a Harrisville man.

According to Butler Township police, Thomas P. Shaffer, 85, of Ellwood City and Glenn S. Davis Jr., 66, of Harrisville, Butler County, were killed in the crash.

Police said Shaffer was driving east on Greenwood Drive in Butler Township at about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday. When he approached the intersection with South Benbrook Road, Shaffer did not stop at a stop sign and collided with a truck driven by Davis.
