BUFFALO, NY : 33 West reopens following a crash on Sunday, 1st September 2024

The 33 East was closed at Grider Street for nearly three hours following a wrong-way crash on Sunday night.

Police say that a Nissan Altima was traveling the wrong way in the eastbound lane when it collided head-on with another vehicle near the Grider Street exit.

The 26-year-old male driver of the Nissan was taken to ECMC and is listed in critical condition.
