Fort Wayne, IN : A 63-year-old Ohio man died in a three-vehicle crash on Wednesday, September 20th 2017

A 63-year-old Ohio man died Wednesday in a three-vehicle crash involving two semis on U.S. 30, west of Richey Road in Van Wert County.

At 10:45 a.m., Bert Helsel of Minster, Ohio was traveling west on U.S. 30, directly behind a semi. That vehicle slowed for traffic as did Helsel, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Behind Helsel, another semi, a 2017 Freightliner driven by Vasilevich Dzmitry, 33, of Hallandale, Florida did not slow down and struck Helsel's vehicle from the rear, pushing it into the rear of the lead semi, police.

Helsel died at the a. Neither semi driver was injured.
