MARLBORO, VT : Brattleboro driver charged following vehicle crash in Vermont on Tuesday, October, 10th 2017
Police suspect a Brattleboro man involved in a car crash Tuesday night of driving under the influence of drugs.
In a news release, Vermont State Police said a state trooper came across the crash on Route 9 near MacArthur Road around 10:50 p.m. The trooper suspected the driver, Andrew Eames, 30, of “being impaired” and transported him to the state police’s Westminster barracks, according to the release.
There were no injuries, but there was “severe front end damage” to Eames’ car, according to the release. The release does not mention a second vehicle.
Eames was processed for driving under the influence of drugs and will appear in Windham Criminal Division of Vermont Superior Court in Brattleboro on Nov. 21, according to the release.
