911 recordings from I-10 pile up released in Jefferson Texas

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office released the recordings Monday from Thursday's Interstate 10 pile up between Hamshire road and Taylor's Bayou.
Callers desperately asked for ambulances, life flights, and police officers."Oh my God, oh my God,"Thursdays pileup left people not just asking for help from above but for help from authorities.
"We need ambulances and helicopters," one caller said.In only one of the 911 recordings released from Thursday's crashes, we can hear drivers frantically trying to stop before slamming into other vehicles.
"They have a major accident over here {inaudible} cars and 18-wheelers and everything. I don't know where we are and the fog is thick. Everybody is just piling up," One caller tells a dispatcher.
After the first few calls, dispatchers began reassuring drivers that help was on the way. It wasn't enough to calm some nerves as one caller frantically cried to dispatch for help.
Amid the crashes and confusion one caller can be heard shouting directions to others."Control yourself before you get hit, you're in the middle of the road,"In another call, an injured woman asks permission to leave the scene"I need to go to a hospital. My face is all cut up, I'm just trying to get to a hospital,"The Department of Public Safety says up to 150 vehicles were involved. 64-year-old Vincent Leggio and his 60-year-old wife Debbie of Pearland were killed.
And up to 90 people were hurt in the wrecks, about a dozen of them critically
