Milwaukee, WI : 53-year-old man injured in hit-and-run crash on the west side on Monday night, Oct 26, 2015

A Milwaukee man was hurt in a hit-and-run crash on the west side Monday night.

The incident happened at 7:50 p.m. in the 2600 block of W. Locust St. as the victim, 53, was walking, according to the Milwaukee Police Department. The man was taken to a hospital with "significant injuries," police said.

The incident is under investigation. No description of the striking vehicle is available at this time.
