El Paso, AR : Emory L. Rogers, 77, died in motorcycle crash on Arkansas Highway 64 in White County on Monday, February 9, 2015

A Jacksonville man was killed in a motorcycle crash in White County.

Emory L. Rogers, 77, died as a result of the crash, according to Arkansas State Police. The crash happened on Arkansas Highway 64 just east of El Paso around 2:20 p.m. Monday.

Police state in the crash report Rogers was traveling west on a Honda Motorcycle when he attempted to negotiate a curve and left the road. He was thrown from the motorcycle.

Rogers was taken to a Little Rock hospital where he later died, according to ASP.
