St. Cloud, MN : Two people injured in head-on collision near St. Joseph on Sunday, JULY 24, 2016
Two people were injured Sunday in a three-vehicle, head-on collision on Interstate Highway 94 at County Road 2 around 3:28 p.m., according to a Minnesota State Patrol incident report.
Alexander Ringdahl, 25, of Fargo, North Dakota, was driving a Mercury Grand Marquis east on I-94 at County Road 2 when he rear-ended a Pontiac G6 driven by Adam Storbakken, 19, of Fargo, North Dakota, that was slowing down in the construction zone, the report said.
After being rear-ended, the Pontiac was pushed into the oncoming westbound traffic, where it was hit head-on by a Buick LeSabre driven by Duane Weberg, 74, of Osakis, the report said.
Weberg and his passenger Mary Weberg, 73, of Osakis, suffered injuries the State Patrol didn't consider life-threatening.
Storbakken and Ringdahl suffered no apparent injuries, according to the report.
