Murdo, SD : Rapid City man dies in a fatal crash on U.S. Highway 83 in Jones County on Wednesday, March 30, 2016

Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal crash in Jones County.

The Highway Patrol says 39-year-old Denny Steele, of Rapid City, lost control of his sport utility vehicle on U.S. Highway 83 Wednesday morning. The SUV rolled in the ditch about 9 miles south of Murdo.

The patrol says Steele was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.
