Makakilo, HI : Woman, 20, dies in single-vehicle crash in Makakilo on Saturday, 14th December, 2019

A 20-year-old woman died Saturday night following a single-vehicle crash into a tree.

The crash happened at around 11 p.m. on Makakilo Drive, Emergency Medical Services reported.

The woman was found pinned inside the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene, the report said. She was the only occupant.

Police closed all northbound lanes on Newa Street near Makakilo Drive during the investigation.
