Jacksonville man dies in motorcycle crash near Acosta Bridge early Friday

A Jacksonville man was killed in a motorcycle crash Friday around 1:10 a.m. near the Acosta Bridge, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.Michael Shane Johnston, 25, was on a Honda CBR 600 when he failed to negotiate an exit ramp and hit the barrier wall, according to the Highway Patrol.Johnston went over the wall and fell to the railroad tracks under Interstate 95 and was transported to UF Health Jacksonville where he was pronounced deceased, according to the Highway Patrol.
