Southgate,MI: Woman killed in Huron Township car crash identified on September, Tuesday 12th 2017

The woman killed in the Sept. 12 fatal car crash in Huron Township has been identified as Paige Luszczynski.

Luszczynski, 26, was pinned in her car after a head-on collision that also sent her newborn baby to the hospital and left the 73-year-old Brownstown Township man in the other vehicle in critical condition.

No updates were available from area hospitals on the man, who has not been identified, or the baby.

The crash happened at about 11:30 a.m. Sept. 12 when the two cars collided head on while travelling on Inkster Road, north of Van Horn.

Jeff Helmer, who lives near the area, said the collision spun both cars around facing the opposite direction of where they had been travelling. He walked near the scene to see what was happening after hearing the loud collision.
