A 21-year-old man was killed in a one-vehicle crash Sunday in Ford County.


The wreck was reported to the Kansas Highway Patrol at 12:26 a.m.

Robert Cintron-Vazquez was driving west on US-400 highway near US-56, southwest of Dodge City. According to the highway patrol, he was driving a 2008 Mazda3 at a high rate of speed.

The patrol said he was in the outside lane, passed a vehicle, then got back into the outside lane when he overcorrected. The vehicle left the road to the right, entered a ditch, struck a culvert and rolled multiple times.
