AVON, IN : Amazon semi-truck crashes into bridge in Avon on Tuesday, 18th July 2023

The Avon Police Department asked drivers to avoid Raceway Road while investigating a crash involving an Amazon semi-truck.

Police said the semi-truck exceeded the height standard and struck a bridge leading to the closure.

No other vehicles were involved and no injuries were reported.

The crash occurred in the area of Raceway Road, south of US Highway 36.

The road has since reopened.
