Highland Township, OH : One injured in Defiance County motorcycle crash on Saturday night, July 2, 2016

One person was injured Saturday night when a motorcycle crashed near an Ohio 15 intersection in Defiance County, the Highland Township Fire Department said today.

Firefighters said they responded about 10:25 p.m. to the crash on the curve north of Ohio 15 and Mansfield Road southeast of Defiance.

The patient, who was not identified, was flown to a Toledo hospital, they said. The highway was closed for about an hour.

The county sheriff's department, Continental Fire and EMS and the Ohio State Highway Patrol assisted at the scene.
