Caruthersville, MO : Six people were injured in a six vehicle crash at I-55 in Pemiscot County On Sunday, May 29th, 2016
Six people were injured after a six-vehicle crash in Pemiscot County Sunday night.
It happened on I-55, at the 14.2-mile marker, around midnight.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, a 2001 Ford F150 pickup truck driven by John Chapman hit a 2015 Chevy Cruze driven by Joann Dixon.
The car was stopped in the road.
The Cruze then hit four different motorcycles.
Dixon was flown to the Elvis Presley Trauma Center in Memphis with serious injuries.
Craig Dixon, 8, was a passenger in her car. He was taken by ambulance to a local hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
Patricia Pardo, Joseph Odom, Terry Earl, and Jerome Young were all drivers of the motorcycles.
Pardo and Odom were flown to Memphis with serious injuries.
Earl also sustained serious injuries, but he was taken by ambulance to Pemiscot Memorial Hospital.
Young was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.
Chapman was not injured in the crash.
Everyone involved in the crash is from Louisiana.
