BOULDER, CO : Boulder police investigating fatal crash involving a pedestrian early Stephanie Butzer on Friday, 27th September 2024

A woman was struck and killed by a driver in southeast Boulder early Friday morning, but police do not believe speed or impairment were a factor in the deadly crash, according to a police department spokesperson.

Officers were called north of the intersection of Broadway and Rayleigh Rd. at approximately 4:58 a.m. for a report of a crash involving a pedestrian. At the scene, investigators determined a 2004 Honda Accord was going north on Broadway when the driver struck the woman north of the crosswalk.
