Worcester ,MA : Deering man seriously injured in Antrim crash on Friday Morning ,June 12th 2015

A 22-year-old Deering man was taken by helicopter to a Massachusetts hospital early this morning after a serious car crash on Route 9, according to police.
As of this morning, police were not releasing the man's name because his family had not yet been notified of the crash, which happened at about 12:16 a.m., said Antrim police Officer Ethan Vaillancourt.
The Deering man suffered head and chest injuries when he crashed a Jeep Liberty that flipped over onto its roof, Vaillancourt said. He noted that police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
The man was taken by ambulance to Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough and then airlifted to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, Mass., for further treatment, according to police. Vaillancourt said the man's expected to recover.
A driver who had come upon the crash scene tried to call 911, but didn't have cellphone reception, Vaillancourt said. Thankfully, an officer patrolling in that area drove by and saw it, he said.
