North Topeka, KS : Police ID man ejected, killed in crash early in North Topeka at N.W. Morse and Central Avenue on Wednesday, 3rd October 2018

A 39-year-old man was killed early Wednesday in a single-vehicle crash in North Topeka, police said.

The crash was reported at 5:53 a.m. at N.W. Morse and Central Avenue.

Lt. Chris Heaven, Topeka police watch commander, said a passenger in a white pickup truck was ejected from the vehicle. The passenger was found on a sidewalk on the east side of Central and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police later identified the truck’s passenger as Troy D. Hill.
