Ontario, CA : Rancho Cucamonga motorcycle deputy hurt in crash on Thursday, September 14, 2017
A sheriff’s deputy with the Rancho Cucamonga station was slightly hurt in a crash involving another vehicle Thursday morning, officials said.
Just after 8 a.m., a marked San Bernardino County sheriff’s motorcycle deputy was traveling west on Arrow Route approaching Rochester Avenue when another vehicle, also traveling west on Arrow Route, merged into the same lane and struck the deputy, according to a sheriff’s news release.
The deputy was able to maintain control of his motorcycle and immediately stopped.
Paramedics took the deputy to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
