Hundreds of people gathered Monday night to remember the life of a Tullahoma student and football standout.

Eli Grow, 17, was killed in a car crash on Highway 41A on Saturday.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol said Grow was driving south when his pickup truck crossed the lane into oncoming traffic and hit another truck head-on just after Car

Creek Road.

Grow was a senior at Tullahoma High School and played quarterback for the football team.

About three hundred people attended a candlelight vigil at the school's football field Monday night.

Grow's parents, friends and teammates all spoke about his work ethic and positive influence on their lives.
