Brownsville, TX : Two people died in a car crash in south of Brownsville on Monday evening September 28 2015.
Police in northern Mexico say two people have died in a car crash in which the passenger-side air bag had been replaced with bricks of cocaine.That compartment held 55 pounds of coke. The driver's air bag apparently did deploy.
The crash happened about 85 miles south of Brownsville, Texas.
Federal police said they recovered 23 packages of the drug from the car after it crashed in the town of San Fernando in thenorthern border state of Tamaulipas.Emergency personnel took the two occupants of the car to a hospital, where they died of their injuries.
