JEFFERSON COUNTY, CO : Multiple crashes in Jefferson County Tuesday with snow squall warnings in the Denver area on Tuesday, 27th February 2024

Multiple crashes in Jefferson County on Tuesday forced the closure of two busy highways.

According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, a crash along Highway 285 at Kennedy Gulch forced the closure of the southbound side of the highway. That crash involved a jack-knifed semi at about 9 a.m.

At about 9:45 a.m., both directions of Highway 93 were closed between 64th and Highway 72 for a crash.

Details on possible injuries were not available for either crash.
