Bakersfield, CA : One killed, two injured in crash involving semi-truck and medical transport vehicle northwest of downtown Bakersfield on Monday, March 13, 2017

One person was killed and two others injured Monday in a crash involving a semi-truck and a medical transport vehicle at 24th and Alder streets, northwest of downtown Bakersfield, firefighters said.

One person died at the scene of the 10:54 a.m. collision, one suffered moderate injuries and the third suffered minor injuries, Bakersfield firefighters said.

The driver of the semi-truck was uninjured.

The name of the deceased will be released by the coroner's office.
