Pierre,SD : Mansfield man injured in two-vehicle crash on June, thursday 1st 2017
A Mansfield man was taken to Sanford Aberdeen Medical Center after a Thursday evening crash.
Matthew Harmen, 39, had serious nonlife-threatening injuries after colliding with a vehicle driven by Cameron Wilson, 44, of Aberdeen around 6:51 p.m., according to Tony Mangan, the public information officer for the South Dakota Department of Public Safety.
Charges are pending against both of them, Mangan said.
Harmen was westbound on 138th Street, near the intersection with 377th Avenue; Wilson was parked on the north side of the road, facing west, Mangan said.
Harmen became distracted and collided with Wilson’s trailer, Mangan said.
Wilson was not injured, nor was his 16-year-old passenger.
Harmen was treated and released from Sanford Thursday.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating. Aberdeen Fire and Rescue responded to the scene.
