HANCOCK, MI : Little Orleans motorcyclist injured in Hancock crash on Tuesday, 4th September 2018

Sixty-two-year-old Joseph Gilmore of Little Orleans suffered serious injuries when he was ejected from his motorcycle early Monday afternoon on Western Pike, according to Maryland State Police.

Gilmore was flown to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore by Maryland State Police helicopter Trooper 5 following the 1:30 p.m. crash in the 3700 block of Western Pike.

Gilmore was operating a 1990 Honda motorcycle when he struck a deer that was standing in the roadway, according to Master Trooper S. Bussard of the Hagerstown barrack.
