Racine, WI : Man killed in head-on crash in Racine on Monday, November 17, 2014

An 88-year-old man died late Monday after his vehicle crashed head-on with another vehicle in Racine, police said Tuesday. The crash occurred at 5:20 p.m. Monday in the 1600 block of Lathrop Ave., according to a Racine police news release. The 88-year-old man crossed the centerline and hit another vehicle driven by a 17-year-old girl from Racine. The girl did not require medical attention. The man was taken to Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare for emergency treatment and then transferred to Froedtert Hospital where he later died.
