Lake Butler, FL : Two killed in Lake Butler crash on Wednesday, 18th December, 2019

Two people died in a Wednesday afternoon crash in Lake Butler, the Florida Highway Patrol reported.

Troopers said the driver of a 2012 Dodge Charger was driving south on County Road 245 and did not stop at the flashing stop light at its intersection with State Road 238.

The Charger ran into the trailer of a 2020 Kenworth tractor-trailer that was being driven east on State Road 238 by William Cochran, 51, of Lake Butler. He was not injured.

The driver and passenger in the Charger were killed in the 1:22 p.m. crash, FHP’s news release said. Their names haven’t yet been released
